Summary
Texas STEM academies, schools and businesses have made amazing efforts in working to close the disparity between the number of STEM field college graduates and the number of skilled workers needed in STEM industries. May 6-12th is the time to unite in celebrating those outstanding efforts. Mayor Jeff Coleman will join Governor Rick Perry in granting a proclamation recognizing May 6-12, 2013 as "Celebration of STEM Education Week" in the State of Texas and in the City of Pflugerville.
