Summary
The Texas Economic Development Council announces Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC) has been awarded top honor in the state for an Workforce Excellence Award in their population group 40,001 to 100,000. The award recognizes the exemplary efforts of The Pflugerville Manufacturing Academy program which trained over 150 people in 3D Additive Manufacturing during the pandemic and at no cost to the participants. The PCDC program partnered with Austin Community College, Texas Workforce Solutions Capital area and three local additive manufacturing businesses including Cumberland Additive, EOS of North America, and Essentium.
