Approving a resolution authorizing the Chief of Police to officially retire police canine Lubo and transfer ownership of canine Lubo to his handler, Officer Glenn Hodgson for the customary price of one dollar and providing an effective date.

 

Summary

Canine handler Officer Glenn Hodgson is officially leaving his position as Canine Officer Handler for the City of Pflugerville Police Department the Chief of Police has determined that Police Canine Officer Lubo should be officially retired from service with the Pflugerville Police Department as it is in both Lubo’s best interest and the best financial interest of the City.

The Chief of Police having determined that pursuant to law enforcement custom, retired Canine Officer Lubo should be transferred to full ownership and private possession of his final handler Officer Glenn Hodgson; and pursuant to law enforcement customs this transfer should be accomplished by allowing Officer Hodgson to purchase Lubo from the City for the customary price of one dollar and zero cents.
