Approving an ordinance on second reading with the caption reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE, TEXAS, ADOPTING THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2015 BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Summary
During the fiscal year it becomes necessary to amend the approved budget to allow for expenditures and revenues that were not originally approved. Necessary improvements to the existing Animal Shelter, estimated in the amount of $400,000, have been identified and are further described in the attachment. The City Council authorized these proposed short term improvements at the December 9, 2014 meeting.
At this time, the bid package is being finalized and will issued to prospective bidders by the end of March 2015.
Prior City Council Action
The fiscal year 2015 budget was approved on September 23, 2014. This is the second amendment to the fiscal year 2015 budget. This ordinance was approved on first reading on March 10, 2015.

Reserve funding is available for these improvements.
