Title

Approving an ordinance on second reading with the caption reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE, TEXAS, ADOPTING THE THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2016 BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Summary

During the fiscal year it becomes necessary to amend the approved budget to allow for expenditures and revenues that were not originally approved. This proposed budget amendment is to provide immediate funding for the purchase of body cameras and associated professional services costs.  The attached summary provides the adjustment detail. 

This ordinance has been approved as to form by the City Attorney.

Prior City Council Action

The fiscal year 2016 budget was approved on September 29, 2015.  The first amendment to the fiscal year 2016 budget was approved on May 10, 2016.  The second amendment to to the fiscal year 2016 budget was approved on July 12, 2016.

This ordinance adopting the third amendment was approved on first reading on August 9, 2016.
