Deadline for City Council Action
There is a public hearing on the regular meeting agenda to receive public comment on the proposed fiscal year 2017 tax rate of $0.5399/$100 valuation. This is the first of two public hearings on the tax rate, as required by Truth in Taxation regulations. The second public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. The fiscal year 2017 budget and associated property tax rate must be approved by September 30, 2016.
