Summary
On Tuesday, October 4, 2016 neighborhoods throughout the City of Pflugerville will join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 33rd Annual National Night Out (NNO) crime and drug prevention event. National Night Out is supported by the National Association of Town Watch and the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs and the U.S. Department of Justice. Citizens are urged to participate in National Night Out to help strengthen law enforcement and citizen contact to make our community a safer place to live. Citizens are encouraged to organize and register a National Night Out block party so that police and other emergency personnel can visit. National Night Out block parties must register each year. Registered block parties will receive a block captain bag with items to assist in making their party a success including a NNO t-shirt, crime prevention pamphlets, NNO balloons, and items for children. Block captains are contacted by email when these items are available to be picked up at the Pflugerville Police Department. For additional National Night Out information, please contact Cpl.
