Summary
The City of Pflugerville City Charter requires that a public hearing be held on the proposed fiscal year budget before it is adopted. The attached notice regarding the public hearing was published on the City website (www.pflugervilletx.gov) from September 15, 2016 to September 27, 2016 and in the Pflugerville Pflag on September 14, 2016. Exhibit A of the budget ordinance under consideration is the complete proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2017. Copies of the proposed budget are available for public inspection at City Hall, the Pflugerville Community Library, and on the City website at http://www.pflugervilletx.gov/DocumentCenter/View/15926.
All required notices have been published. The required public hearing must be conducted prior to the adoption of the budget. The City Attorney has reviewed this ordinance.
Deadline for City Council Action
The Fiscal Year 2017 Budget must be approved by September 27, 2016 in order to be in effect for the beginning of the fiscal year on October 1, 2016.
