Discussion regarding the revised strategic plan.
Summary
The City Council held a worksession on May 4, 2016 with Mr. Joe Gonzalez of The Management Connection to develop the following elements of a draft strategic plan: vision statement, mission statement, list of community values, key focus areas, and strategic priorities. The City Council discussed the draft of the strategic plan at a special meeting on July 19, 2016 and the City Manager provided the draft with action plan to the City Council on August 9, 2016. With this item on September 27, 2016, the City Manager will submit the revised strategic plan for discussion and consideration.
This item has been included on the worksession to allow for discussion and the regular meeting agenda to allow for action to adopt the strategic plan.
