Summary
Pflugerville will be put in the national spotlight as the Hendrickson High School Hawk band travels to New York City to perform in the Macy’s Day Parade. The Hendrickson High School Hawk band has proposed to create a patch promoting the City of Pflugerville, to be worn on coats used during their trip to New York City for the Macy's Day Parade performance. This item would approve the City Manager to expend up to $10,000 made payable to the Hendrickson High School Hawk Band for the creation of and purchase of City of Pflugerville promotional materials to be used to promote the city, tourism, our new hospitality industry, and, as a means to promote the arts in the city while participating in a nationally televised and recognized event.
