Summary
With the approval of the canvass of the votes for the November 8, 2016 Special Election, Proposition 1 will be officially adopted by the City of Pflugerville. Proposition 1 amended the Charter to change the structure of the City Council from six to seven members, provided the Mayor to vote on all matters and removed the preparation of City Council agendas from the Mayor's rights and responsibilities. This resolution has been provided to allow the City Council to establish City Council Place 6, to integrate City Council Place 6 into the City Council Election Cycle, to establish the City Council Place 6 vacancy and to make appointment to City Council Place 6 for an unexpired term ending November 2017.
