Status

Guidelines for appointments to the Technical Advisory Committee have been provided by CAMPO and are attached. The guidance provides that "in order to ensure that the TAC functions as intended, it is important that each member jurisdiction of the Transportation Policy Board (TPB) appoint TAC members and alternates that have the knowledge, experience, and responsibility to represent them.  A TAC appointee and their alternate should hold a college degree and have substantial experience in civil engineering or transportation planning.  Each TAC appointee and their alternate should also be a senior member of the organization and should have the level of responsibility to encumber public funds on behalf of the appointing jurisdiction.  Most importantly, the TAC appointee and their alternate should have direct responsibility for the development and implementation of transportation projects.
