Summary

The City is proposing to amend Chapter 72 of the code of ordinances to implement a Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) zone for enforcement of speed zones for street improvement projects.

This request is specifically relating to the speed limit in the construction zone on Heatherwilde Boulevard with the following boundaries: Beginning 586 linear feet west of the Wilke Ridge Lane intersection and ending at the Wilke Lane intersection south of State Highway 45.

This ordinance has been approved by the City Attorney as to form.

Prior City Council Action

Chapter 72 regarding speed limits on city streets was last amended by the City Council on September 22, 2015.

 

This ordinance was approved on first reading on January 10, 2017.
