Summary
The City Charter was amended by the voters at a special election held on November 8, 2016 which changed the composition of the Board of Adjustment to include 5 regular members and 2 alternate members. Mr. Brandon Frye, Mr. Drew Botkin, and Mr. Rodney Blackburn are regular members with terms ending December 31, 2017. Mr. Craige Howlett is a regular member with a term ending December 31, 2018 and one regular member position remains vacant. Mr. Victor Johnson is an alternate member with a term ending December 31, 2017 and Mr. Kenneth Kidd is an alternate member with a term ending December 31, 2018. Mr. Kidd has agreed to fill the opening for the regular member. This item has been included on the agenda to allow the City Council to take action to appoint Mr. Kenneth Kidd as a regular member with a term ending December 31, 2018. An opening for an alternate member with a term ending December 31, 2018 will remain until filled.

Action is requested on January 24, 2017. The Board of Adjustment is scheduled to meet on January 25, 2017.
