Summary
This supplemental agreement provides bridge inspection and materials testing for the Weiss Lane Roadway project.
Construction will begin in March.
This agreement has been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney.
Status
City staff has negotiated with LJA Engineering, Inc. to establish a scope of services, schedule and fee for this supplemental agreement.
Prior City Council Action
A professional engineering services agreement with LJA Engineering, Inc. was presented to Council and approved for $852,286.95 at the July 14, 2015 City Council meeting based on the 2014 General Obligation Bond Election. A supplemental agreement #1 for $641,296.00 was approved at the January 12, 2016 Council meeting for additional design phase services associated with the new scope of work as a result of the 2015 General Bond Election. A supplemental agreement #2 for additional Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services for no additional compensation was approved on April 12, 2016. A supplemental agreement #3 for additional roadway and bridge design for the Travis County Bridge #229 in the amount of $112,875 was approved on May 24, 2016. A supplemental agreement #4 for additional bridge design and the relocation of several Manville water lines in the amount of $108,541 was approved on November 8, 2016.
Fiscal Impact
Funding for this project is from the 2014 and 2015 general obligation bonds and Travis County bond funds.
