Summary
The Weiss Lane Roadway Project requires property acquisition, including the acquisition of property necessary to construct the project. The City’s property acquisition consultant and city staff have negotiated with Sivaramakrishnan Venkatraman and Durga Sethuraman for the needed property. The cost of $44,500 for a conditional purchase agreement has been agreed upon, subject to City Council approval, based on negotiations between the property owner and City.
Approval of this item will authorize the City Manager to execute a conditional purchase agreement and associated conveyance documents necessary for formal conveyance of the real property interests.
The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the language of the purchase agreement.
Fiscal Impact
Funding for acquiring this property is from the 2014 and 2015 GO Bond funds and Travis County road bonds.

Authorize the City Manager to execute a conditional purchase agreement and associated conveyance documents between Sivaramakrishnan Venkatraman and Durga Sethuraman and the City of Pflugerville as necessary to facilitate the conveyance of and acceptance of real property interests needed to construct the Weiss Lane Roadway Project.
