Summary
The Sorento Wastewater Interceptor Project requires property acquisition of a 0.319 acre wastewater easement and 0.444 acre temporary construction easement necessary to construct the project. The City’s property acquisition consultant and city staff have negotiated with the landowner for the needed property. The cost of $18,333.18 for the easement purchase agreement has been agreed upon, subject to City Council approval, based on negotiations between the property owner and City.
Approval of this item will authorize the City Manager to execute an easement purchase agreement and associated conveyance documents necessary for formal conveyance of the real property interests.
The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the language of the easement purchase agreement.
Fiscal Impact
Funding for acquiring this property is from Wastewater Impact Fees in the Utility Fund.
