Summary
The Stone Hill Park Project that is currently under construction includes several pieces of play equipment, including various gross and fine motor skill based activities such as climbing, spinning, and balance-based play opportunities.
The playground equipment is part of the overall Stone Hill Park Project currently under construction. This project includes the development of roughly 9 acres with trail/sidewalk, dog park, parking, restrooms, playground, picnic space, and park pavilions. This park project will serve the surrounding Stone Hill development including adjacent apartments and the Highland Park neighborhood.
Since the City is using a cooperative purchasing contract, the City's purchase order and accompanying documents will constitute the required documentation for the purchase. The cost of $154,159.80 for the equipment warrants City Council approval.

There is no deadline for action, but based on equipment lead time a prompt approval and order will better ensure timely completion of the project.
