Summary
The City Charter provides that the Mayor, with advice and consent of the City Council, shall appoint not less than five individuals to serve on the Personnel Appeal Board for up to three years. Mayor Victor Gonzales recommends the appointment of Mr. Larry Douglas. Currently, the Personnel Appeal Board consists of the minimum of five members. No maximum number of members is provided in the City Charter. The current Personnel Appeal Board members are Mr. Melvin Clark, Mr. Tony Ellis, Mr. Dwain Jones, Ms. Michele Walty and Ms. Lorena DeZeeuw. Mr. Douglas' application will be provided separately to the City Council.
