Summary
The Pfennig Lane Roadway Improvements Project requires property acquisition, including the acquisition of right of way necessary to construct the project. The City’s property acquisition consultant and city staff have negotiated with Morris D. Callaway and Sharon K. Callaway for the needed right of way. The cost of $27,407.95 for a conditional purchase agreement has been agreed upon, subject to City Council approval, based on negotiations between the property owner and City.
Approval of this item will authorize the City Manager to execute a conditional purchase agreement and associated conveyance documents necessary for formal conveyance of the real property interests.
The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the language of the purchase agreement.

Funding for this project was included in the 2014 general obligation bond.
