Summary
The Pfennig Lane Roadway Improvements Project requires property acquisition, including the acquisition of right of way necessary to construct the project. The City’s property acquisition consultant and city staff have negotiated with Guy G. Mathews and Barbara P. Mathews on 2 parcels for the needed right of way. The cost for parcel #1 is $20,005.25 and parcel #2 is $48,323.50. The conditional purchase agreements have been agreed upon, subject to City Council approval, based on negotiations between the property owners and City.
Approval of this item will authorize the City Manager to execute conditional purchase agreements and associated conveyance documents necessary for formal conveyance of the real property interests.
The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the language of the purchase agreements.

Funding for this project is from the 2014 general obligation bonds.
