Summary
This project consists of approximately 4,906 linear feet of conduit, pre-cast Oncor streetlight foundations and Oncor streetlight ground boxes to add additional illumination along Swenson Farms, Marfa Lights and Black Locust as shown on the attached map. This project includes 20 streetlights.
The attached bid tabulation shows the bids in which Austin Traffic Signal Construction Company, Inc. was the low bidder for the bid in the amount of $81,820. The estimated cost of this project was $115,000.
Status
The project was advertised for bids on August 16, 2017. Four (4) bids were received and opened on August 31, 2017.
Fiscal Impact
Funding for this project is from 2016 project reserve/fund balance.

Staff recommends awarding the construction contract for the streetlights at various locations throughout the City to the lowest responsible bidder, Austin Traffic Signal Construction Company, Inc., in the amount of $81,820.00.
