Summary
This item has been included on the agenda to allow for amendment of the City of Pflugerville's representation on the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO)Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). On December 13, 2016, the City Council approved a resolution appointing Mr. Tom Word as the City of Pflugerville's representative, with Mr. Trey Fletcher as the alternate. With the retirement of Mr. Word at the end of this year, city staff recommends the appointment of Mr. Fletcher as the representative with Mr. Brandon Wade as the alternate.
The CAMPO Transportation Policy Board approved new bylaws governing the TAC in 2016 which provides the composition of the TAC shown below:
City of Austin 3 Primary and 3 Alternate Voting Representatives
Each County (6) 1 Primary and 1 Alternate County Voting Representative, and 1 Primary and 1 Alternate Smaller Cities Voting Representative
City of Cedar Park 1 Primary and 1 Alternate Voting Representative
City of Georgetown 1 Primary and 1 Alternate Voting Representative
City of Pflugerville 1 Primary and 1 Alternate Voting Representative
City of Round Rock 1 Primary and 1 Alternate Voting Representative
