Summary
October is Adopt a Dog month and Pflugerville Animal Welfare Services invites residents to adopt a dog during October for only $20. The regular adoption cost is $60. In addition, the shelter is hosting a Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, October 28 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm to highlight animal adoptions and encourage residents to visit and adopt from the shelter. Various vendors will be onsite with giveaways including candy and treats. Children in costume are sure to leave with plenty of candy. Tour the shelter while you are Trunk or Treating since the adopt a dog special is only good through October 31.
