Summary
This item has been included on the agenda to allow for an appreciation presentation for outgoing Councilmember Starlet Sattler. Ms. Sattler has served on the City Council since May 2008, completing the maximum three terms allowed by the City Charter. Ms. Sattler is a long-time community volunteer. She served the Brookhollow PTO, Piranha swim team and Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce. Perhaps most notably, Ms. Sattler has served on the Deutschen Pfest Committee since 1997 and served as their Committee Chair since 2005. Prior to being elected to the City Council, Ms. Sattler was the Chair of the Planning and Zoning Commission. She also participated in both Downtown Summits, the Wal-Mart Development Committee, the Residential Quality Standards Committee, the Stone Hill Town Center site review team, the Personnel Appeal Board and the Zoning Code Revision team.
