Discuss and consider action regarding proposal concepts in response to a call for Planning Study Partners for 2018-2019 Platinum Planning Studies with the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO).
Summary
The purpose of this item is to present project concepts that would be responsive to the project call that is attached to this item. CAMPO is already in the process of a Regional Arterials Study for the entire 6-county CAMPO region, for which HNTB has been selected by CAMPO to complete the scope of work that also includes tasks to evaluate the MoKan Corridor and Northeast Subregional Study which includes the Pflugerville extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ).
Status
The application period begins on Monday, December 11, 2017 through January 18, 2018.

Deadline for City Council Action
Staff requests direction on November 28th in order to be responsive to the project call.
Projected Future City Council Action
No additional action is anticipated.
Fiscal Impact
The City would be responsible for 20% of the project cost.
Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends submitting a proposal to CAMPO with direction from the City Council.
