Presentation to introduce the Library Book Bike.
Summary
The Pflugerville Public Library continues to emphasize and implement outreach throughout the Pflugerville community. This book bike will increase the library's ability to showcase our programs and services at various festivals and events during the year. Among other features, the bike provides a wifi hot spot wherever it goes; the ability to issue library cards and check out or return library materials; e-resource downland capability; and pop-up programming. The book bike will be outside city hall prior to the Council worksession and meeting. Staff will show a short video about the book bike.
Funding for acquiring the book bike came from library donations.
