Foam Works provided a bid of $3.50/sq. ft. but Concrete Raising of Austin was the only contractor that was found to meet the specifications of the bid that required a certain method be used. The previous amount paid for this contractual service was $3.85/sq.ft.

Staff would ask the Council to authorize this action at this meeting in order to begin the project.
Fiscal Impact
$70,000 for contractual sidewalk raising and repair services is included in the fiscal year 2018 operating budget in the Streets and Drainage department sidewalk repair line item.
