This resolution authorizes the City Manager to apply for and accept, if awarded, a Justice Assistance - Byrne Grant Program award for $191,248.00 from the Office of the Governor for the purchase of equipment and training to support existing programs and enhance the skills, knowledge, and abilities of employees. There is no cash match for this grant from the City. Approval is also requested to authorize the City Manager to sign all necessary documents upon final approval of the City Attorney.
