Summary
The city's tax abatement guidelines have expired and need to be readopted. These tax abatement guidelines were adopted in 2006 and readopted in June of 2011. No changes to the guidelines are being recommended at this time. Please find the attached resolution with tax abatement guidelines exhibit for your consideration.
Prior City Council Action
The guidelines were most recently adopted by Resolution No. 1289-11-06-14-0039 on June 14, 2011 which is attached for your reference.
Projected Future City Council Action
Tax abatement guidelines must be approved every five years.

There is no fiscal impact associated with the approval of this item.
