Summary
The City is amending Chapter 72 of our Code of Ordinances specifically relating to stop signs on public streets by adjusting the stop sign intersection at the following locations:
Stone Hill Town Center
• Add various existing stop-controlled public street approaches to the existing code of ordinances list.
• Amend various existing approaches in the code of ordinance verbiage to allow for technical corrections.
Status
The attached exhibits illustrate existing conditions, differentiating the existing signs that are being added and the signs that are being amended.
With adoption of this ordinance, the stop signs will be adjusted and updated in the list of other signs in the City’s Code of Ordinances.
This ordinance has been approved by the City Attorney as to form.
This ordinance was approved on first reading on April 10, 2018.
Prior City Council Action
Chapter 72 regarding stop intersections on city streets was last amended by the City Council on February 27, 2018.
