Summary
Mayor Victor Gonzales will present a proclamation declaring April 30, 2018 to May 4, 2018 Air Quality Awareness Week and encouraging our residents and employees to educate themselves about air quality, and to promote air quality and air quality awareness within the community. In addition, Pflugerville is a participant in the regional Clean Air Coalition on the policy level represented by Councilmember Mike Heath, as well as the Clean Air Coalition Advisory Committee, represented by Trey Fletcher. Both are administered by the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG).
Residents are encouraged to monitor air quality via the Air Central Texas website, http://aircentraltexas.org/.
