Summary
The proposed annexation consists of approximately 6.798 acres of land located north of E. Pflugerville Parkway, east of Pfluger Farm Lane, and west of F.M. 685 within the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction. Chapter 43, Subchapter C-3 of the Texas Local Government Code authorizes Tier 2 municipalities, including the City, to annex area on the request of all property owners in an area. The subject property is governed under a development agreement entitled "Amended and Restated Economic Development Agreement Between Geraldine Timmermann and City of Pflugerville, Texas," which includes provisions of voluntary annexation and a service plan. The amended and restated economic development agreement was considered and approved by the City Council on December 12, 2017, and is attached to this agenda item. The City will be the retail water and wastewater service provider for the subject property. The subject property is contiguous to properties within the city limits and therefore is eligible for annexation per state law.

Please note; the 0.294 acre tract of land shown on the locator map attached to this agenda item is not included within the proposed annexation as it is owned by a separate property owner.
