Summary
The scope of work for this project includes an area study and infrastructure evaluation of the historic Colored Addition Subdivision. This work includes an evaluation of existing street, drainage, water, and wastewater infrastructure, collection of pertinent data on land use and franchise utilities, assistance with the public involvement process and recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
The attached agreement has been reviewed and approved as to form by the City Attorney.
Status
City staff has negotiated with Halff Associates, Inc. to establish a scope, schedule and fee for this project.
Fiscal Impact
The funding for the study is from the General Fund CIP Engineering Other Professional Fees line item in the amount of $50,000, and the Utility Fund Administration Other Professional Fees line item in the amount of $15,985.
Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends approval of this agreement with Halff Associates, Inc. in the amount of $65,985 for professional engineering services associated with historic Colored Addition Subdivision Area Study and Infrastructure Evaluation.
