An item has been included on the regular meeting agenda to allow for approval of a resolution creating a Youth Advisory Council. If the Youth Advisory Council is created, City Council interviews and appointment of YAC members would be scheduled on the September 25, 2018 regular meeting agenda.
Fiscal Impact
Costs are estimated at $3,000, to include social events and attendance at the Texas Youth Advisory Commission Summit in February. Funds would be taken from the other operating line item 200-4480 of the city administration budget.
