Summary
Texas Longhorn Aquatics (TXLA) is an established swimming club affiliated with the University of Texas that has successfully provided a swim team program with the City of Pflugerville since 2013. TXLA and the City have been operating under rental agreements that specify such things as hours of usage and associated rental fees.
This item is a new rental agreement with TXLA to cover the use of the Gilleland Creek and Windermere Pools for their swim team program. The term is for one year - September 1, 2018 to August 31, 2019. There are no significant changes to the agreement.
The City Attorney has reviewed Local Government Code and determined that renewals may be executed by the City Manager as long as there are no changes to the agreement's terms and conditions other than the dates (term).
The agreement has been reviewed and approved as to form by the City Attorney.

Fiscal Impact
The past agreements have resulted in revenues from $20,000 to $25,000 per year. These revenues are in the general fund in the Parks Facility Rental line item. The new agreement should be within that range as well.
