Approving a resolution consenting to the City of Round Rock use of a portion of the MoKan Transportation Corridor right of way for thoroughfare extension purposes.
Summary
Approval of this resolution, requested by the City of Round Rock, gives consent to TxDOT to allow Round Rock to utilize those sections of the Mokan right of way near the its intersection at SH 45 as shown in Exhibit "A" to facilitate the extension of Arterial A from its current terminus at Forest Creek Drive south to SH 45.
The resolution has been reviewed and approved as to form by the City Attorney's office.
Projected Future City Council Action
Incorporate the extension of Arterial A from SH 45 to New Meister Lane into the proposed master transportation plan.
Fiscal Impact
There is no fiscal impact to the City associated with the approval of this item.
