Summary
Starting in March of 2018, the Downtown subcommittee met regularly to discuss a myriad of topics related to downtown.
The Downtown Action Plan is intended to expand upon and provide for an implementation schedule of the 2009 Old Town Pflugerville Vision Report action items. Based on extensive public outreach methods, the Old Town Pflugerville Vision Report outlined 10 desired characteristics for the revitalization of downtown that provided a balance of opportunities to live, learn, work and play. The Downtown Action Plan is intended to be a living document, as it shall be refined every three to five years to account for unforeseen changing conditions and to capitalize on additional economic development opportunities. The adoption of this plan by resolution shall represent the City’s continued support and commitment to downtown.
City Attorney has approved the resolution as to form.

City Council created the Downtown subcommittee in order to explore public investment opportunities and placemaking concepts for downtown Pflugerville.
