Summary
This item has been included on the agenda to allow for a report by Councilmembers that attended the Texas Municipal League Annual Conference in Fort Worth October 10-12, 2018.
Section 35.22 (F) of the City of Pflugerville Code of Ordinances provides the following requirement for a report:
Conference Registration Expenses. Registration expenses for all local government continuing education conferences shall be eligible for reimbursement. A written report summarizing the information obtained by the City Councilmember attending the conference shall be submitted to the City Council by the City Councilmember after the conclusion of the conference. The report shall be placed on the next regular City Council agenda for consideration before any eligible expenses arising from attending the conference may be reimbursed.
At the conference, TML provided information on their "Our Home Our Decisions" campaign and the City Council may be interested in sharing and showcasing it to the community. Please see https://www.tml.org/ourhomeourdecisions for information.
Prior City Council Action
At the July 24, 2018 Regular City Council Meeting, the City Council took action to approve Mayor Gonzales, Mr. McDonald and Mr. Metayer to attend the 2018 TML Annual Conference.
