Summary
Per the 2030 Comprehensive Plan's implementation schedule, the City shall pursue Unified Development Code (UDC) revisions every one to five years. The UDC was most recently revised and adopted in February 2015. The purpose of the proposed code amendment is to adopt an appendix of the UDC outlining the application submittal and content requirements associated with development review applications. No substantive changes to the process or current requirements are proposed with the exception of electronic review requirements for most development applications. Additional electronic submittal requirements are proposed for the following development application processes:
· Zoning Application
· Preliminary Plan Application
· Final Plat Application
· Site Development Application
· Board of Adjustment Application
· Architectural Waiver Application
City Attorney has approved the ordinance as to form.

Planning and Zoning Commission Action
The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the proposed changes at their November 5th meeting by a vote of 6-0.

Prior City Council Action
The City Council approved the proposed changes on first reading at the November 27, 2018 meeting by a vote of 7-0 with the added clarification to vehicle trips per day as it pertains to traffic impact analyses.
