Summary
The City Charter provides that the Mayor, with advice and consent of the City Council, shall appoint not less than five individuals to serve on the Personnel Appeal Board for up to three years. Mayor Victor Gonzales recommends the appointment of Mr. Bruce Tabor at this time. No additional applications were received. The Personnel Appeal Board requires a minimum of five members. No maximum number of members is provided in the City Charter. The current Personnel Appeal Board members are Mr. Tony Ellis, Ms. Doris Williams, Ms. Michele Walty, Ms. Lorena DeZeeuw and Mr. Larry Douglas. Mr. Tabor's application will be provided to the City Council separate from the agenda.
