Summary
The Pflugerville Police Department is a license holder for the Spillman Insight System which allows data information exchange with other law enforcement entities that also use the Spillman Insight System. This information exchange includes the ability for law enforcement agencies to share criminal histories and persons involvements across agencies. A Use and Dissemination Agreement with Seguin Police Department was previously approved by the City Council and was determined to have no impact on city infrastructure or network performance. Approval of this item would allow the City Manager to execute agreements with additional law enforcement agencies to allow for sharing of information with the City of Pflugerville Police Department and at no cost to the City of Pflugerville.
The agreement has been approved as to form by the City Attorney.
