Graduation of the PF101 Class of 2019.
Summary
Citizens were invited to participate in an eight-week long program, featuring presentations by multiple departments at the City of Pflugerville. The departments members learned about were: City Manager's Office, Finance, Communications, Animal Welfare Services, Public Works, Development Services, Parks & Recreation, Police & Municipal Court, and the Library. PF 101 is a program used by the City to teach residents about our day to day functions and roles of local government. We believe that it helps build a relationship with the community while encouraging our citizens to participate in civic functions. The purpose of PF 101 is to educate residents about operations, cultivate future leaders, and showcase the talents of staff. The class took place one night each week for about two hours. Participants who had perfect attendance with one absence will graduate from this program. This was the very first PF 101 program at the City of Pflugerville. Graduates are invited as the City Manager's guest to attend the State of the City on April 2, 2019.
