Summary
The Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) recognized the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation with a certificate of achievement for Economic Excellence at the TEDC Legislative Conference on February 21, 2019. This is the fifth consecutive year for the PCDC to receive the certificate and is one of only 51 Texas communities recognized out of a possible 887 4A/4B organizations, numerous chambers, and foundations statewide.
The Economic Excellence Recognition program is awarded based on higher standards of professional development and training of their governing board and staff. Other criteria considered include certifications, professional memberships, and organizational effectiveness through studies and strategic plans.
