Summary
National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance is a national government purchasing cooperative working to reduce cost of goods and services by leveraging purchasing power of public agencies in all 50 states. There are no costs or obligations for participation and no volume minimums on purchases.
The city is a member of multiple purchasing cooperatives (co-ops). These organizations have performed competitive bidding procedures for categories of commodities. By executing this agreement, the City may participate in any bid or proposal issued by the Alliance. All vendor awarded contracts have been competitively and publicly bid. This increases the efficiency and effectiveness of the purchasing process for the City of Pflugerville.
