Approving the appointment of Ms. Patricia Davis, P.E. as City Engineer.
Summary
The City Charter, Section 4.06, requires that the City Manager shall appoint the head of each administrative department, subject to the approval of the city council.
Interviews were conducted the week of March 25, 2019 after which Ms. Davis was determined to be the sole finalist. She has been serving as the Interim City Engineer since February 1, 2019.
Ms. Davis will lead the combined Engineering Department. She has been an Engineer for the city of Pflugerville since 2009. She was previously employed by the Texas Department of Transportation in various capacities and hold both a B.S. and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
