Summary
Barbara Woodworth, regular member with a term ending December 31, 2019 and Michael Owens, regular member with a term ending December 31, 2020, resigned from the Parks and Recreation Commission. At the April 9, 2019 City Council meeting, the Council appointed the current alternate member Lisa Ely as the regular member with a term ending December 31, 2020, appointed Lenette Peterson as the regular member with an unexpired term ending December 31, 2019 and appointed Bobbi Neyland to the alternate position with an unexpired term ending December 31, 2019. Ms. Neyland has indicated that she no longer wishes to serve in the position.
This item has been included on the agenda to allow the City Council to appoint the third applicant, Tyler McCraney, as the alternate member for the unexpired term ending December 31, 2019. Mr. McCraney's application will be provided to the City Council separate from the agenda.
