Summary
The Wilbarger Creek Park proposed project encompasses 10 acres of new development within 105 acres of existing parkland. Proposed amenities that necessitate restroom facility usage include sports practice field, outdoor classroom/amphitheater, playground, and velo-way. The park will have parking facilities to accommodate 65 cars. The proposed restroom facility will have 2 family restrooms available for public use during park hours of operation.
This facility is similar to the Pfenning Park restroom facility. Use of pre-fabricated structures offers financial savings, consistent quality of materials, and shorter construction time resulting in better control of the project schedule by the general contractor.
This is a Buy Board purchase.

QA Construction Services, Inc. was awarded the construction contract for Wilbarger Creek Park March 12, 2019.

Project funding was approved as part of the November 2014 General Obligation Bond.
