Summary

The communications team was awarded for their excellence in video, social media and marketing at this year’s Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers’ (TAMIO) annual conference ON June 6, 2019. Over 400 applicants submitted awards in 24 categories. City of Pflugerville staff were recognized with the following five awards:

-                     1^st place in Special Publication (Print) for the PfunTX Brochure

-                     1^st place in Educational Public Service Announcement (Video) for the Police Recruiting Video

-                     2^nd place in Best Recurring Special Event for Chili Pfest

-                     3^rd place for Best Special or One-Time Program (Video) for the Police Critical Conversations Video

-                     3^rd place for Best Use of Social Media (Planned) for the Library’s National Tattoo Day Posts
