Approving a resolution adopting the ES&S® Express Vote Universal Voting System as the voting system to be used in City of Pflugerville elections.
Summary
Section 123.001 of the Texas Election Code requires that before a voting system can be used in elections, the authority, by resolution, order, or other official action of the authority, must adopt the system for use in the elections. Travis County and Williamson County have acquired new voting equipment and both will be utilizing the ES&S® Express Vote Universal Voting System. This resolution has been provided to allow the City Council to adopt the system to allow for its use in City of Pflugerville elections starting with the City's next General Election on November 5, 2019.

The City Council last adopted voting systems on February 13, 2007 by Resolution No. 967-07-02-13-8A.
